I used to be a console gamer (Switch and Wii U), but later moved to PC (I even built it myself!). Occasionally, I'll pull out the Switch to play games I don't want to buy again on Steam.
I'll play a lot of genres, but I can't really get into turn-based games, games like Animal Crossing, MOBA, or games like Civ.

Could ROs have more chat moderation tools so they don't have to rely on mods? @Makyen Now, if you wanted to propose that continued kicking could prevent the user from returning to that room for even longer periods, even up to semi-permanent, that's something that would be within an RO's scope. I don't need to be able to suspend chatters, this post is mostly just for identifying a pain point and hoping staff will be able to come up with a fix :P. You should first be flagging them, then moving/deleting them, not just moving/deleting them Do you mean move before delete (which I would only really bother to do if there were multiple messages (cont.)

There's also not really a reason to need to involve mods in this - they're not always able to help with chat (on the occasion that they're in chat in the first place). Also, I don't really see much of a difference between this and the privileges you gain by contributing to a given site - as you gain more rep, you are slowly able to help out more with keeping the site clean, and this feels somewhat like an extension of that (at least for me). |

Could ROs have more chat moderation tools so they don't have to rely on mods? Also, once an RO knows they're dealing with someone circumventing a suspension, I don't see any reason why they shouldn't be able to immediately and most effectively deal with the problem, rather than having to wait. |

Could ROs have more chat moderation tools so they don't have to rely on mods? @Makyen Yes, there are no measures to prevent people from abusing socks for either mods or ROs. But if someone turns out to be abusing a sock, and there weren't mods around (like in my case), the sock could post (potentially extremely) offensive content, and I don't believe that just deleting/moving and kicking would do it if they came back later. |
